Gitzyon Creek-Slope Stabilization Project

Gitzyon Creek is a major source of drinking water for a Northern BC  Community.  This project was undertaken to help maintain this creek as a clean and reliable natural resource.

Silverwoods Key roles in this project included:

-Planting various species of native shrubs on the steep slopes of the Gitzyon Creek bank and a neighbouring tributary bank

-Spreading grass seed over the same slopes in between the native shrubs
