Silverwood Consulting has a strong vision for responsible stewardship, innovative forestry practices, and community stability in northwest British Columbia. Over the years we have initiated economic development projects, assisted government in strategic and tactical planning for forest health (particularly for Dothistroma septosporum – red band needle blight), designed and implemented research studies for silviculture and forest health, been involved in timber supply review processes for TSAs and woodlots, provided data management and analysis services for regional mountain pine beetle and Dothistroma programs, along with our core business of silviculture program support, forest stewardship planning, silviculture and forest health assessments, timber valuation and forest engineering. Our areas of expertise and specialization include forest health assessment, GIS and spatial analysis, investment analysis tool development, and “on the ground” operational forest management.
